The 7th Czech National Congress of Vexillology has been already under preparation. It will be held in the town of Frýdek-Místek (near Ostrava) between September 4th – 6th, 2020 and organized by the Czech Vexillological Society and the State District Archives in Frýdek-Místek. The congress is intended as a parallel event to the 5th European Conference on Heraldry and Vexillology organized by Polish Institute of Heraldry and Vexillology in Cieszyn (Poland). The common bus excursion to the World War II Memorial in Hrabyně and the Town hall of Ostrava (lunch included) is planned for Friday Sept 4 while common lectures on vexillological and heraldic themes take place on Saturday Sept 5 in Cieszyn where a festive gala-dinner will conclude the common programme of both important events. On Sept 6, our congress will continue with several lectures delivered in the congress venue, the district archives in Frýdek-Místek.
We invite our foreign friends and colleagues to participate at these events of international co-operation and our congress especially; their papers have been welcomed. For more information about public transport alternatives from Prague, accommodation capacities in Frýdek-Místek and/or the congress fee (up to forty €, bus, lunch and gala-dinner included) contact please the chief organizer of the 7th CNCV firstname.lastname@example.org.
